It was one of the most embarrassing events that happened in my life!

Last week, I went to the cinema at a department store with my friend, planning to watch Sweeney Todd (Johny Depp has missed the Orcar. So sad). I got bored while I was waiting for my friend, so I went ahead to book the movie ticket on the 7^th floor. I was climbing up the escalators from the ground floor until the 6^th floor which the escalators are linked together, or to say, you don’t have to walk across the 6^th floor to keep going up.

However, the escalator from 6^th floor to the 7^th is different; you gotta walk to the other side to go up, meaning the escalator that is linked between the 6^th and 7^th floor is going down from the 7^th floor! I was absentmindedly being on the escalator going up from the 5^th floor, having iPod playing its tunes so loudly. SUDDENLY, when I got the 6^th floor, instead of going to the opposite site to keep going on the escalator to the 7^th floor, I right away headed to the escalator which was going down from the 7^th floor!! Even though I stared at it, I didn’t even realized till I got on it, first step..second step..third step, SHIT!!! I just realized that I was trying to go up while the escalator was going down!

I didn’t fall over or got hurt but I was SHY!!! I got seen by loads of people who were being on the escalator lifting from the 5^th floor and some of them were foreigners! I wish I could disappear from that place and I didn’t know how long they were looking at me as I immediately walked away from that SPOT!

When I got home, I told one of my friends about this as I wanted someone to share such a bad experience! To my surprise, he fell over an escalator too hahaha, I just couldn’t stop laughing when he was telling me. He was trying to throw some litters into a bin next to the escalator which was going up from the lower floor but he accidentally stepped over the escalator and then fell over! Obviously, this was worse!
